Peter recently applied to 27 different oral surgery residency programs. So far, he has two interviews: one at Long Island Jewish in NY (Dec. 15), and one in Kansas City (Nov. 22). We'll find out in late January if he got accepted anywhere. If not, he'll apply for one-year internships all over the country, then reapply to oral surgery programs a year from now. Its likely that after an internship, he'll get accepted somewhere! I'm hoping we get to live in NY for SIX YEARS. You're all invited to come visit if that is the case! Of course, if we get accepted to Kansas City, you're still invited, but my guess is that the odds are better for NY.

I'm glad Peter and you have so much fun holding him. It's nice to have a break once in a while.
Let's go shopping on fifth ave. :)
Oh yeah, NY would be WAY fun! Maybe we'll have to take you up on that offer to visit, although that's a lot harder to swing when you have little kids, so we'll see...
Anyway, Al, we don't know if we're having a boy or a girl cuz Drew likes the surprise, and I have to admit that it's fun. I have a poll on my blog where you can "vote" on the gender...so far, a boy is in the lead.
And no, I'm not on facebook--keeping up with the blogging world is about all I can handle at the moment. :)
Yea for Peter and for you! We are excited to see you and be together as a family. Good times.
