Pansy Lab Rat
Addendum to Blood Money post: Well, I got kicked out of the medical study yesterday. I fainted 7 minutes after the first blood draw and there were 16 left to go that day... so they kindly released me. It was a mutual decision, as I don't think I could have handled it. I'm a pansy lab rat after all. Sorry Peter. Goodbye $900... I'll have to find other ways to pay for my jewelry.

Oy! 16 more needle sticks! That sounds like they ought to pay you some big bucks. The big "O" had a show last month about men who donated sperm for money and now have all these children or their mothers contacting them. One guy donated twice a month for several years while in grad school and was aware of several dozen (!) children he had fathered. That's a very big digression.... Glad it's blood and not something else!

Man, that was a lot of money! So sorry for the misfortune. Or lost fortune as it were! I'm kind of a fan of needles-or at least I'm not nervous of them. It is all pretty fascinating to me. :)
Glad I stopped in - this is so funny! I think a girl deserves jewelry with out blood shed.
